Star Wars Galactic Racer PS5 Guide: Console Buying Notes

Quick Answer

PS5 is a natural choice if you want a living-room console racing setup, but do not buy it expecting local split screen. Check the PlayStation Store for current price, performance notes and online requirements.

Is Galactic Racer on PS5?

The platform material includes PS5 as a launch platform. Before publishing final buyer advice, confirm the live PlayStation Store page in your region.

For all platforms, read the release date and platform guide.

What should PS5 players know before buying?

The most important PS5 buyer question is multiplayer expectation. Galactic Racer has online racing in the available materials, but not split screen.

Also check:

• whether online play requires the expected console subscription;
• whether performance mode or quality mode is available;
• whether haptic or controller features are listed;
• whether your region has the same release timing.

Is PS5 good for beginners?

Yes, if you want a simple controller-first setup. Beginners should still start with the beginner guide because the campaign is more consequential than a simple quick-race arcade loop.
